How to upgrade Mac Pro 5,1 mid 2010 from single to dual processor?
Thinking out loud if it is desirable, possible and affordable to go from single to dual processor … Has anyone done it? Thanks

Upgrading the CPU alone is by far the easiest (from 2.66 to 2.93 or 3.33 GHz)! 2009 Mac Pro CPU Replacement (quad-core) If you are looking at a dual CPU board that’s going to be costly!
