This product was working. It has some age on it. Should I get a new power cord. Or is it possible that the board died?

Unless the power cord looks old and tired, it is more likely that the problem is on the printer circuit board.

If you decide to open the printer but canโt see anything obviously wrong with the circuit board after following the repair guide, post some close up images of both sides of the board back here. Hereโs how to do this on ifixit. ๊ธฐ์กด ์ง๋ฌธ์ ์ด๋ฏธ์ง ์ถ๊ฐํ๊ธฐ
