Controller will not power up

I have a Mavic Pro and my original controller suddenly will not power up. It is charged and displays, but the “double press” to turn it on does not. I have replaced the USB control card as I was hoping it would have been the quick fix as it has the power button on it. No such luck. Suggestions welcome, please!
