I was trying to repair the cracked hinge mechanism but when trying to open I broke off the power connector to the on/off switch. Not sure where to get the part or how to disassembly properly without damaging other connectors :/

So I managed to fix the problem by reconnecting the power button. I followed an online breakdown on YouTube which showed where the connector was and how to access it properly through the keyboard which I hadn't noticed could be removed from the top. Computer still works but the power button is non functional because I think I might have disconnected it by accident when trying to look inside
