When I turn it on and try to tap the screen, it does not show that it is responding, I removed the phone case but it refused to respond. I tried removing the screen guard but it still does not work. I restarted it but it did not do a thing. It is still frozen to this day. Iam confused.

Hi,
It may be a loose touchscreen cable connection to the systemboard or perhaps a faulty touchscreen.
Here’s the iFixit Huawei mediapad t1 7.0" Touchscreen Replacement guide.
This shows how to open the tablet so that the touchscreen cable can be checked to see if it is securely connected and if so then how to replace the touchscreen assembly.
Replacement touchscreens are not easy to find online however. I couldn’t find a supplier. So you may have to replace the LCD screen as well, because finding the complete assembly is a lot easier. Just search for Huawei Mediapad t1 7.0" LCD + Touchscreen Assembly to find suppliers that suit you best.
