Hi there. In order to give you more precise info we need to know if you're running stock or custom ROM? Otherwise, the general procedure would be to reinstall the Samsung Home application. If that fails, I would recommend wiping (data/factory reset) as it would probably reinstall the app along with any corrupt system files.
How to wipe Galaxy Tab:
1) With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2) Release the Power button when you see the Samsung logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3) Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4) Press Volume Up continue.
5) The Galaxy Tab should then go through the hard reset process.

thank you so much walter.i was afraid that may tab will not work again.
Thank you! This worked to reboot my Tab 3. I couldn't power it off but followed the instructions and it rebooted. Now the screen is operational again.
I need help. I was using my phone and out of no where it locked with the message:
Unfortunately, com. sec. android. app. Samsung apps has stopped.
Unfortunately my volume button is not functioning, it got stuck. Are there other options.
I tried this a few times but the problem keeps happening again. Help please?

it is not allowing me to open menu or doing any function other than making calls and messages.......
Can anybody please tell me the procedure to rectify this problem,,?????

After a hard reset, I still have a msg stating unfortunately content home has stopped and it doesn't connect to wifi. Is there any assistance for this issue?

I downloaded this app call cycamera and it completely froze my phone. So I turned it off and turned to back on to tried to solve the problem. But then when I turned it back on,all it appears are those force close messages. The background is also black. I tried factory reset it and it still doesn't solve the problem, I need some help here!

what do i do
Hi there,
My tablet hung up, then dead. I tired the procedure to press power and volume buttons, the recovery screen wont appear.
It is still black and no message or recovery mode that I can see.
Can you tell me what should I do as earlier it was working properly and suddenly hung up and dead.

no I just put it in my bag to go to the pool and when I took it out it was frozen black background with only the word Samsung on the screen I pressed all the buttons but nothing moves

i was playing candy crush yesterday then suddenly it stopped and i can't turn it off even i pressing its switch off button. then after few hours its screen was blocked and now i can't force it ti open.

The whole screen is completely frozen in Arca

mine it keep say app stopped working...several apps and several times on on top of another and it installs applications by itself and the adds wont stopp popping up and dont disappear even when i try to remove them off the screen... Its crazy
