I replaced the battery in my Razer Blade Stealth 13” (2017). The laptop indicated that the battery was installed and charged to 100%. But the laptop would crash and blue screen after a few minutes of using it, which it does not do with the battery not installed and has never done previously. Is this a hardware malfunction, or a bad installation job?

It very well could be a defective battery. What I would do is this, if you have the old battery try re-installing it temporarily and see if that resolves the issue. If it does, then definitely a bad battery. If it doesn’t then it must be something else.
What is the error you get when the laptop crashes?

I don't get an error code when the laptop crashes; it just says "An error has occurred and we are getting more information" or something like that, then the laptop restarts almost immediately and gets stuck in the "Aptio Setup Utility" menu until I pull out the battery. Unfortunately I no longer have the old battery because it was bloated.

I replaced an HP battery and the laptop/notebook does the same thing. After being on a few minutes it just shuts off. No error messages. Just off. It stays on if I unhook the battery. I’m attempting to calibrate the battery.
