Thick Shaded vertical bar

The image uploaded shows a bar that is darker than the rest of the screen. I don’t know what to do nor the cause of it. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think this is the problem, but can you open the monitor up(guide here) and check for any leaky or bulged capacitors and any other blown components?
