What does code i11 mean?

When I start the Dishwasher, it makes a few starting sounds, counts down 4 or 5 minutes, then stops and shows error i11. What’s wrong with it? (A few weeks ago, it already stopped opening the door for the last bit to dry dishes…)

@muellerin what is the exact make and model number for your DW? What have you checked?

Apparently code i11 indicates a fault in the drain pump or drain valve. This may not be entirely accurate.

i10 and i11 are water filling related. The machine could not add (enough) water.
