Keeps saying “your profile does not have the correct permissions

Title decided to be annoying but

I keep getting an error that says “your profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox live”

this seems to be system wide for my Xbox account on my 360, as it won’t for my account but it will for other people’s accounts

And I am connected to Xbox live on an Xbox one so I don’t know if that interferes
