I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps I could find (changing modes, removing battery, powering on and off, etc.), but my camera still won’t take a photo when the shutter button is pushed. What do I do?

Could be oxidation on the button.
Getting some electronic cleaning spray and spraying it so that it seeps into the button then press the button it several times.
Electronic cleaning spray is always a good first step since it doesn’t require any disassembly, just try to keep the spray away from any screens since it could leave stains between layers if it penetrates into it.

@iliketechalot it can, but only with the "movie" button, not the shutter one.
