Hi,

The battery may be failing under load.

First option would be to replace the battery and check if that resolves the problem.

Here’s the ifixit Garmin Approach S2 Battery Replacement guide that may help.

Replacement batteries are available online. Just search for Garmin PD3032 HPCM battery, to find suppliers that suit you best.
