A1662: headphone jack frankensteining?
I tried the answer section, but found this part of the website.
The headphone jack only is what doesn’t work. I looked inside the port, and the metal balls and surrounding plastic is a little damaged, maybe the balls are pushed in? I tried fiddling and cleaning it , maybe made it worse.
I don’t want to replace the whole flex cable, security reason (no third party or used microphone and lightning port microcontroller).
can I cut the flex on a 5s and transplant/microsolder the 3.5mm jack flex copper leads on the SE dock?
Is there any other way?

Ali, you can check with the iFixit support team, but I'm pretty sure they only sell genuine Apple parts, so if you bought the replacement flex cable you're getting an OEM part. If you trust the one that came in the phone, then you can also trust the replacement that iFixit sells. You'll have to settle for a white port rather than a black one as they're out of stock on black.
But hey, do what you gotta do, man.
I did note that you can get the whole assembly for as cheap as $6 USD on eBay and unsolder the jack from that one if you're determined to do it that way.

What 'security issue' can replacing a charging flex cause? Just replace the charging flex. Comes with brand new ear phone jack.
