Mac Mini 2014 Reported SODIMMs
Public held opinion, is these units have soldered memory, not DIMM slots, yet this is memory summary screen on my machine:

Yes,you are correct this model doesn’t have ram slots but what the summary is referring to is the ram that is soldered to the logic board
The ram is probably the same stuff that is on a sodimm ram stick as iv seen people do a ram upgrade using the stuff on the sticks

Think of it this way ... Water comes in may forms! Liquid, Ice and Steam! But it's all water.
The OS info is correct as physically its the same just in a different format.
