Normally, as I do not have experience with this model, in the process of opening it up, the KBD comes off. If you look on the bottom, there may be screw holes marked with a KBD symbol. Removing those screws will allow you to lift the KBD and remove the cable from the connector on the motherboard.
If there are no such marked screws, you will have to do a little more disassembly.
