How would I replace the volume button?

So after 2 years and 8 months, the volume buttons on my Redmi Note 9S quit on me. First, the down button stopped working and then the up button. They've lost their clickiness. I know I need to replace the hardware, and I'm worried it's going to cost me a fair bit compared to what I spent on it initially. I thought of sourcing the part and DIYing it myself. The only problem is I can't seem to find a guide or a video showing what I need to do for the volume button replacement. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ask and ye shall receive! As you've already found, iFixit doesn't have a guide for you, but there are a lot of phones out there and they can't do everything. Fortunately, there are other sites who share iFixit's vision, and the Spanish site Nadie Me Llama Gallina has just what you're looking for.

You can find replacement buttons on the usual sites like eBay and AliExpress. Here's an example.

Same problem has happened with my same model.

Instead of changing buttons, I have enabled "accessibility menu" ( it is like the function button it will appear near down on screen buttons which we touch frequently) from Settings.

I have redmi 9 with no sond keys up and down, it has been pulled out. The phone is stuck on rice droid logo. Is there a way, to fix, recover, reinstall rom only with power button

Maybe one of the buttons on constantly pressed which leads to a boot loop. I would try disconnecting it and start it with no buttons
