I need a chip replaced

I accidentally plugged a 12 volt cable into my Mobius and immediately, like 2 seconds, pulled it out but I did smell that burnt component smell. Do you think this repair would be more than it is worth?

I think it depends on how far it was able to get to, I would think it’d have protection, maybe a MOV which would blow, could be that.
