Sound and camera not working

So. I dropped my phone,replaced my screen (I have experience with replacing screens) and after turning the phone on I can't access my camera app or sound. When I open my camera it says "couldnt open try again" I've tried the standard fixes. Cleared cache, safe mode, factory reset, tried disabling camera. I don't have Bluetooth on I have no idea whats wrong. And I can hear sound when I plug headphones in but none without. I have taken it to a repair shop which was no help he just offered to get a new phone which I cannot afford so please help !

Hello, I have had the exact same issue before. I replaced the earpiece part and the front camera part and it worked perfectly fine. It’s damaged during transferring the old parts to the new lcd. Even though there was no visual damage.

Hello. I have replaced the earpiece part and still no sound. I have also replaced the bottom speaker so was wondering what the next step would be to fix this phone

Try cleaning the back of that top board and speaker with isopropyl alcohol 99.9% and disconnect the camera and clean under both the connector on the camera and the motherboard.

The speaker bit in the middle at the top can be popped out with a mini flat head screwdriver and cleaned then just pop it back in the same way but make sure the two gold pins face the same way they were before removing.

I think it’s just residue left over in the connection between the board, speaker and camera as they are all gold contact connections if if they are even the slightest dirty or damaged they will not work due to an unstable connection.

well the earpiece was recently replaced so shouldnt be dirty. do you think it may be a short circuit in the motherboard or just most likely dirty?

@kuro24592 The ear speaker is in the wrong way lol. The two springs that are at the very top should be contacting the two metal plates on the corner of the circuit board. Lift it out rotate it 180 degrees the put it back in. When you put the board back in it should sit against the two sprung points. Also try disconnecting the cameras and re seating them as they look like they're not on properly. The area circled in the picture could be your problem. Looks like some components could be shorted.

The tip of the connector arrowed should be under the metal corner piece so when you put the board back in the tips of the speaker contact the corner plates so the ear speaker will work.

Ohh well originally putting it in I had no sound so tried it the other way then left it lol

One of the screws needed to get the board out would not come out as it was threaded but before that i had the same issues
