Charging port not working

Until then, all I can say is you're not in a good position here. Apple did you dirty on the charging port of your iPad; not only is it attached directly to the motherboard so you can't just replace a part, but they also put it on a flex cable, making it even harder to replace. So it's going to take a fairly skilled technician to be able to do the specialized soldering required to fix your port.

You can always do a search for local repair facilities and contact them. Ask whether they have the expertise to repair your port, and what the cost is.
