Forgot screen retention bracket

I recently fixed a broken screen on my phone but just now found that I have forgotten to reinstall the retention bracket for the screen connector, how bad of a problem is this. What I'm really asking is, how likely is it that the connector comes loose withing the frame without the bracket installed.
