How to assemble Learning Resources calculator

So I have this Learning Resources brand calculator, and I've been tasked on how to fix it. Any ideas? Here's some images of it:

A number on the back reads "B2393080208" and as seen in the last image, it has this solar power chip with the text "VIMUN" and the model number "SC-25100S".

It's a little hard to tell from the photos, but looks like the display was ripped off. You won't be able to fix it unless you can solder and are able to solder the ribbon cable back on.
