How to replace charging port?
The charging port on my Pixel 6a needs replaced.

Hi Matt,
Yeah, that's one of my biggest nit picks about the current Pixel phones is that the charging ports - arguably the most abused part on the phone - are not easily replaceable. Unlike many other phone models, Google chose to mount the charging port directly onto the motherboard, meaning you can't just change out a daughter card when your charging port goes bad.
So we're assuming you've watched all the videos and done all the cleaning steps possible before coming to the conclusion that you need a new port, right? Because this isn't a repair where you can just say, "I'll just pop in a new part and see if that fixes it"; rather it's a difficult fix and requires expert level soldering skills.
First things first, you have to remove the motherboard.

Now you've got access to the port and you've already ordered and received your replacement part, right? Something like this.
I consider myself fairly experienced at soldering, but this is one where I'd hesitate. Due to its construction, it requires a hot air soldering station; a soldering iron won't do the job on this one. So either you're really good at this sort of thing or you've already located a repair shop who says they'll swap out the part for you.
Of course, given the difficulty, nobody would blame you for just calling in the experts. Google has ubreakifix as their authorized repair source, and they do offer charging port replacement as a repair service. Go to their page here to get started.
