RS-J3 - Stuck Microphone Button

Hello, so I've got a Panasonic RS-J3 in great condition, it plays just fine until the microphone button got stuck in a decompressed state, stopping all playback and is forced into the microphone section. I took off the player plates and have access to the stuck button, however I don't see and visible issues and am unsure how to go about getting the button unstuck. Any help? I'd love to get my player working again.
