Why is my cpu not functioning while it's light is on?

@bloodfist23 you are not telling us how the mouse and the keyboard are connected. If those are USB connections, plug them into the two upper USB ports. Those are the ones that are active right from the start. This could be a BIOS issue as well as a motherboard issue. Looks like you are using the integrated video card. If you can, try a dedicated video card and see if that gets you an image.

Disconnect everything from your computer except the monitor and keyboard. Then try and start it and see if you get at least the splashscreen (Dell Logo) and can get into the BIOS.

If so the next step will be a BIOS update. BTW you are not saying if this is a new error and if this just started or if something happened to the computer. Let us know if it has ever worked for you.
