Destroyed Heat Dissipation Stickers

In order to remove the three display cable connectors, I completely destroyed the three pieces of extremely thin, black, heat dissipation (hd) stickers that covered each of the connections. I saw that ifixit carries a replacement hd sticker kit for the Series 6 44mm watch only. It’s out of stock so I can’t even try to adapt it for my Series 5. Is it absolutely necessary to replace the hd stickers? Is there an acceptable alternative hd sticker here on ifixit or on the internet I could use? Thanks!
