Roomba J7+ doesn’t work

I have roomba J7+ that doesn’t work. When on the charger the light just spins endlessly. It won’t let me reset it when I hold the button down for 10sec or 20 or 30….. as soon as it comes off the charger the light stop spinning. And then will go back to spinning once placed back on the charger. I have tried cleaning it taking apart, emptying out all of the filters and chambers cleaning the wheels and the brushes and I’ve even removed the battery and put the battery back in. Nothing changes.

I would suggest opening the device to check that all sensors are in their correct placement, and nothing is lodged in the device. If it ran over water, foil, or something too large/funny shaped it could have become jammed or offset a sensor. Just take a look inside and make sure everything looks good, and if something looks off just put it where it belongs. Good Luck.

Hello, I have the exact same problem. Irobot basically told me to buy another one. I believe it's a software possibly hardware issue. I'm waiting to hear if they will sell me a new motherboard.
