Hi, I recently opened up my ep-133, there is something wrong with the fader. When I use the pads to play a sequence there is flickering caused by wiggle in the fader. It appears the fader is loose or broken. I have another ep-133 unopened (I was planning on keeping it as a collectable) and I'm worried it will have the same issue as they were purchased at the same time.
Can I get a replacement/fix?

AFAIK Teenage Engineering improved the packaging to avoid issues with the fader.
If it gives false signals (flickers) then you should get in contact with their support team to get a replacement.
There are ways to fix the issue yourself (search "fader gate" on youtube) but if it is still in warranty, they should send you a replacement.
If you are worride the second unit has the same issue, maybe you can provide them the serial numbers and have Teenage Engineering check from which batch they are. Or you’ll just give the sealed one back to the vendor and buy a separate one (separate batch).

this is a brand new unit. its broken and it wont let me change any values
Okay I miss-read your issue. I used to own a few mixers when the faders became audibly visible on the fade I’d add fish oil it works a treat. Your talking about a different issue altogether.
