I can't get sound from speaker jacks

Dell Dimension 4500s

Dell SFF computer introduced in 2002. Buyer had a choice between a Celeron or Pentium 4 processor. The expansion port selection is as follows 1 AGP (optional) 1 motherboard PCI, and 2 more on a PCI riser card.

Could I possibly need to click on something to make the sound come out?

@mark96254 does your sound work at all? What Operating system are you using? Have you checked something like the device manager? What have you tried?

@mark96254 there are a few possibilities. I would suggest that you use the Dell Dimension 4500s User Guide and check page 38. This will address most of the issues. Let us know what you find out.
