Reattach clear plastic diaphragm?

The clear plastic diaphragm in one of my Linkbuds has completely separated from the main speaker part of the earbud. I read elsewhere that reattaching it with a dot of superglue worked, but I’m still getting hardly any sound out of it. Very likely that I did it wrong, but was curious if anyone else had any suggestions?
