Sim and sd port

Is the Micro SD card itself broken? (I'm assuming that its a micro SD card, not a regular size.) Try putting it in a different device that accepts Micro SD cards to check if it works.

If the card works, try making sure nothing else is stuck in the port that could be shorting or blocking the contacts.

If worst comes to worst, open the phone to make sure there are no broken wires/traces/components that connect to the port.
