All it does is continuously blinking blue lights

Can anyone help? I have a whirlpool gold dishwasher which I probably used about 3 times since I bought it about 10 years ago. I am trying to get it working again but all it does is continuously blinking blue lights, doesn’t matter which button I press. Right now it’s the normal and start. I’ve unplugged and plugged back in the power cord but not seems to work. Should I give up and trash it??
