CO2 Level Reads Too High
The unit seems to function fine, except the CO2 monitor is showing a reading of precisely 5000ppm. I’m confident this is incorrect based on the air flow and room usage. I’ve followed the Netatmo instructions to reset, but it goes back to this reading.
Any suggestions on how to fix either via hardware or software?
Update (11/12/25)
Alright, here is the disassembly:
Turn the flat white bottom cover counterclockwise to unlock.
Remove the (3) Torx T6 screws from the bottom plate to reveal the antennas.
Gently push the bottom section upwards to slide the internals out of the aluminum casing. (The translucent cover for the LED may fall out.)
Remove the (2) PH00 screws holding the black circuit board casing and the white plastic casing together.
The two halves of the circuit board and black case can be separated by hand, revealing the CO2 sensor (?) on the back of the board.

Are you able to disassemble the machine, locate the CO2 sensor, and take a digital multi-meter reading of voltage across the pins? Is this something you can achieve?

Yes, any guess what they should read?

Okay, nice work. With all respect to your efforts here, these are terrible photos.
1) with the device powered and operating, and actively trying to measure co2 levels
a) measure the voltage across the pins of the sensor.
b) measure from gnd to each of the pins.
**That's three readings.**
2) In my limited experience, co2 sensors have between 4 and 6 pins. But this cylindrical looking thing has only 2. I cannot see anything else on the pcb that looks like a co2 sensor. Does this cylinder have other pins or wiring going to it? If so, we will need to measure across those pins, and from gnd to these pins. This is another **three readings.**
3) what is this white material, water damage? Where else is this white stuff?
