Single Graphic Vs Dual Graphic Display Assembly

@danj I have a 2.8 GHz 2015 DG with a faulty display & have found a single graphic 2.8 GHz 2015 model with a good display for cheaper then a replacement Assembly with a 1TB SSD & a near new battery that has just 9 cycles for under $160! I cannot find any info to suggest there is any difference or compatibility issue in swapping over the complete display assembly's. @danj I think your extremely familiar with these as you use one yourself. Need confirmation before I take the plunge and purchase it.

They both use the same screen. It's easy to verify using TheBookYard listings as an example Parts for Apple MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2015

@livfe - The App requests it as the preferred option. This is part of the Apps code framework. There really isn't a need to alter the display setting from a user perspective. If that was needed that would be a crappy App to have not have the setting set, or someone coding an App who needed to see the difference.

@danj Yes, I didn't play with anything from this video, just curious what causes it to switch from Intel to AMD.
