KitchenAid Artisan Mini Mixer (KSM3311/KSM3316)

Known as either the KitchenAid Mini or the KitchenAid Artisan Mini, this compact 3.5-quart tilt-head mixer is ideal for small batches and limited spaces. Does not reliably power on

My mixer does not reliably power on. I see that the larger mixers have easily accessible brushes that can be replaced to fix this problem. These are not present on the mini. How can I fix this?
