Left button not working

The left button intermittently works and has been getting progressively worse over time. Should I follow the disassembly steps as described to replace the battery and try and clean the buttons with compressed air?

Hi @mcfb, if the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S is still under warranty, I recommend sending it in for repair. Based on my experience, once the warranty has expired the usual fix is replacing the microswitch. The part commonly used is an Omron D2FC-F-7N or similar, which requires desoldering the old switch and soldering in the new one.

Is this a common problem with this model?

I have the same problem with left click, i'm going to try to repair the button. (Tape was not the issue, it was 100% the button malfunctioning)

This can't be true, those switches are substantially larger than the ones present in the MX Anywhere 3S
