This is too old for NVMe, so you need a SATA SSD - just put it where the old HD was installed.
I would link to an iFixit kit, but with Micron dropping Crucial... Few are left and priced high due to the flash shortage, or they are all Mac kits :-(. I would just buy a Samsung, WD or SanDisk from Best Buy if you can find a 512GB-1TB SSD for a reasonable price. Follow this to install it: HP 15-f009wm 하드 드라이브 교체
