Older product different description

I am working on my wife's gaming mouse. It is marked as a G600 and I found a page for it. But the P/N and description are slightly different.

1) This version has a braided cloth cover.

2) P/N and S/N are on a tag attached to the cord vice underside of mouse.

3) P/N: 810-002849.

The mouse is not responding to some buttons, and I would like to find a way open it up to test them. I could splice in a new cable, but that is a radical solution which may not fix the issue.
