Your phone is similar to many Android phones in that the charging port is mounted on a small daughter card at the bottom of the phone. As such, it's an easy repair to just replace that cheap little circuit board and fix your USB port. I wasn't able to locate any written, iFixit-style guides, but this video steps you through the process quite well. All you need is a pry tool and a small screwdriver and you can easily do this yourself.
