Hi Omolayo,
Samsung has a diagnostic suite you can run on your phone to get an idea if there might be an issue with certain parts on your phone

It is possible that there is damage to one or more of the cables or connectors that are responsible for operating your biometric sensors (Face ID, fingerprint unlock). If possible, could you open the phone back up and examine the connectors and cables responsible for operating these sensors?
