Among laptops sold by Acer is the Acer TravelMate series. Acer TravelMate laptops are designed to make it easier for employees to work outside of the office. To achieve this, Acer TravelMate computers offer powerful processing and portability. This laptop series is marketed towards the “professional on the road.” Acer TravelMate laptops are generally well-reviewed for being sturdy, high-quality devices, but they are criticized for lacking in visual appeal.
TravelMate laptops run various versions of the Windows operating system, including Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7-Windows 10. As of summer 2020, the newest edition to the Acer TravelMate series is the TravelMate P6, which offers a thin chassis that houses an abundance of ports.
Identification
Acer TravelMate laptops have a trackpad, keyboard, and fold-down display. The Acer logo is imprinted on the back of the encasing, as well as on the front of the device, just below the screen. Acer TravelMate laptops are usually black in color.
