Background and Identification
The Alcatel IdealXCITE is a smart phone first released in 2017. To correctly identify this device, remove the back cover and battery. Underneath the battery is a label with the model number. It should read “5044R”. It uses the Android OS v7.0 operating system. The exclusive carrier of the phone is AT&T. The color of the phone is gloss black with an engraved grid pattern on the rear cover. The Alcatel IdealXCITE has a 5-inch screen with 196 ppi pixel density made of Dragontrail glass. The phone features a forward facing camera, a rear facing camera, and a GPS. The phone has not been included in any major recalls, and the reviews from Walmart.com average 3.5 stars.
