Background and Identification

Canon is a consumer electronics company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Canon was founded in 1937 when it originated in the optical instruments industry. In 1959, Canon released the Reflex Zoom 8, which was the world’s first movie camera to have a zoom lens. In addition to cameras, Canon today also produces other photography-related consumer electronics, like photo printers.

The Canon Pixma Pro-10 is a color inkjet photo printer. It is designed to provide users with high-resolution copies of both color and black and white images. Essentially, the Pixma Pro-10 aims to give users access to “gallery quality” images from the comfort of their own homes. The Pixma Pro-10 connects to devices using Wi-Fi or ethernet cables. It can also connect directly with smartphones through Apple AirPrint or Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint platform.

The Canon Pixma Pro-10 is box-like in structure. It is designed to sit flat on a desk or tabletop. The printer includes an exterior paper tray and control panel. The Pixma Pro-10 is black in color and has the Canon logo on the front of the device.
