Background
The Canon PowerShot SD30 was released in September of 2005. It comes equipped with 5.3 million pixels, a 5.0 sensor resolution, and 4x Digital Zoom. It runs a TTL contrast detection system that holds 16 MB of memory. This one is slimmer than the previous SD20, and the flash module is smaller.
Identification
To identify your device, the model number SD30 is printed on the front of your camera. You can also find the serial number printed on a label located on the bottom of the camera near the tripod socket. For additional help identifying your camera, take a look at the Canon support page.
