Background
The model number for this device is CPB-380 and was released in 2016 by Cuisinart. The majority of issues users experience with this device are with the motor. Noticeable problems include visible smoke or a smoky smell coming from the motor, a weak motor, and complete failure of the device to power on. This device comes with two different chopping blades: one for crushing and one for blending. Included with this device are also various interchangeable blending cups.
Identification
Some of the identifying features of this device include its dial on the front and sleek grey base. The easiest way to tell the Cuisinart CPB-380 apart from other blenders is by the chrome dial and chrome Cuisinart logo plate on the front face of the blender and the device model CPB-380, on the bottom of the base.
