Lasko CD08200 Repair

The CD08200 features 3 basic functions where users can choose to have the following modes: 1-hour, high, or low.

The device is encased with a Positive Temperature Coefficient ceramic element, allowing the device to heat up and cool down quickly.

The Lasko CD08200 also has the following devices: a built-in ACLI safety plug and an internal Automatic Overheat Protection unit. The ACLI safety plug is designed to cut power for the device whenever a ground fault occurs, whereas the Automatic Overheat Protection unit will turn the device off once the unit reaches an unsafe level of heat.

To identify whether if you have the correct Lasko heater, be sure to check under the device for the following model number: CD08200. Be sure that the device has only these 3 functions in the following order, from left to right: “1-hour, High, Low”.

Beware that there are other similar devices with more than 3 functions on the top of the device — the CD08200 only has 3.
