Background
The Panasonic SC-PM31, released in 2005, consists of the main stereo control unit, model number SA-PM31, and two speakers, model number SB-PM31. The dimensions of the main unit are 6.88 x 10 x 15.8 inches.
The system offers a 5-disc CD player, a cassette deck, and an AM/FM tuner. The CD player is compatible with CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3-CD formats. In 2008, the Panasonic SC-PM31 was replaced with the Panasonic SC-EN38. This new model features an iPod docking station.
Identification
The primary unit has "CD Stereo System SA-PM31" printed on the front of its display screen in order to identify it.
