Background and Identification
The Samsung HMX-W200 is a handheld camcorder, released in 2011. This camcorder contains a 5 megapixel lens which takes pictures and shoots video in full HD 1080P. It is waterproof up to 3m/10ft and shockproof up to 2m/6.5ft. Even though is it stated that this camcorder is waterproof, multiple reviews state otherwise. Therefore, underwater use with this camcorder is not recommended.
The available colors are grey and red. The device weighs 0.28 lbs. The HMX-W200 is easily identifiable by its coarse back plate. The Samsung HMX-W300 is the predecessor to the HMX-W200 which contains upgraded features, and slightly larger dimensions.
