Background
Sony released the Sony VAIO PCG-3E2L in 2008. In April of 2010, Sony recalled the cooling fan in the Sony VAIO PCG-3E2L while offering free replacement for up to 48 months after purchase. There is also a frequent issue with color lines appearing and flickering on the LCD screen.
