Background and Identification
The Turtle Beach Elite 800 is a headset that uses DTS Surround Sound modes with specific presets through 50mm speakers. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 10 hours. The package contains the headset, as well as a transmitter that acts as a charging station. A mobile cable and a digital optical cable are also included, as well as a USB transmitter and programming cable. The blue trim distinguishes it from it's Xbox One compatible 800X counterpart with green trim.
The headset itself has an internal microphone, and can be controlled by buttons located on the face plates on the outside of each ear cup. The speakers have a frequency response of 20Hz - 20kHz, and the headset also has bluetooth capabilities. It is a over-ear headset, with wireless transmission of 2.4GHz, and is made from a synthetic leather with memory foam ear cups.
