By using this guide, you will easily be able to replace the keyboard and resume using your device.

Replacing the keyboard requires you to remove many components. Be sure to keep track of all supplies!

  1. HP dv7-4065x Keyboard Replacement, Keyboard: 1 단계, 이미지 1개 중 1개

    • Remove the battery from the laptop.

    • Move the switch in the battery compartment.

    • Carefully flip up the keyboard panel.

    • Don't pull far on the keyboard. It will still be connected to the laptop via ribbon cables.

    • Lift the retaining flap on the keyboard cable ZIF connector.

    • Carefully pull the ribbon cable from its socket on the motherboard.
